Testimony: Roundtable on DBH’s Comprehensive Plan for the School-Based Behavioral Health Program
Children’s Law Center Senior Policy Attorney Leah Castelaz testified before the DC Council Committee on Health regarding the Department of Behavioral Health’s Comprehensive Plan for the School-Based Behavioral Health Program. In our testimony, we outline several concerns regarding the Comprehensive Plan, namely, that it lacks sufficient data and analysis of SBBH programming, contains limited integration of feedback, and fails to consider historical context necessary to understand the current system and plan for the future.
