FY25 Budget Testimony: District of Columbia Housing Authority

Children’s Law Center Policy Attorney Makenna Osborn testified at the Committee on Housing budget oversight hearing for the District of Columbia Housing Authority (DCHA).

Our testimony identifies the level of funding the Council should ensure is included in the District’s FY25 budget for 1) the rehabilitation and maintenance of the District’s public housing stock and 2) new locally funded long-term housing vouchers to meet the basic housing needs of DC families with low incomes.
