FY23 Budget Testimony: COW Budget Hearing
Children’s Law Center Executive Director Judith Sandalow testified before the DC Council’s Committee of the Whole at the COW budget hearing. Judith noted that while there are many important investments needed to protect and support DC children, she urges the Council to ensure that the FY23 budget fully funds two priorities that will have a big impact on kids: the Office of the Ombudsperson for Children and the School-Based Behavioral Health program, specifically, restoring provider grants to $80,000 per school grant level.
